Caitlin Boyle, founder of Rooted Akron, LLC, is a professionally trained birth doula working towards certification. She is currently a member of Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) and is enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program with Nurture Birth LLC.
As a Labor Doula, Caitlin strives to provide evidence-based information as well as emotional, physical, & mental support for women so they may be informed, empowered, & know the strength that resides within each of them. She believes that all women deserve continuous support & care during pregnancy, in labor, & in immediate postpartum. Caitlin loves her community & truly feels that we should support one another through this beautiful journey in whatever way each person needs. She is grateful for the opportunity to be of service to women & families during such a precious time in their lives.
Caitlin is also a Traditional Usui Reiki Master (trained by Judy McCracken of Reiki Rays of Hope for Families & Children), community organizer, & promoter of self-care & self-healing in Akron, Ohio. Caitlin strives to bring various healing modalities into the public sphere, advocating for health equity & accessibility across socioeconomic boundaries.

Tia is also working towards finishing her early childhood education degree at the University of Cincinnati. She has been working with infants and postpartum moms for the last seven years.
Tia has lived in many areas of the country throughout her life and has loved settling down in Cincinnati with her fiancé. Her decision to take on birth work as a career came after lots of guidance, support and research. She is passionate about helping parents-to-be gain the maternity experience that they desire through support and evidence based knowledge.
